Garden Plot Update

Been Almost a Month....
...since I last posted. I guess I've been busy getting older (turned 40 on the 11th), gardening, watching lots of soccer and now cycling and working.
A few weeks ago, our neighbors had a pirate-themed party. So, of course, we had to dress up the flamingos for the occasion.
At the party, A convincingly dressed up as a pirate wench. Her "costume" got lots of compliments and comments.
The garden is beginning to flourish. I'm really happy with how my various tomatoes are doing. I'll see if I can take these to ripeness without any mishaps.
We've already been partaking of mustard greens and lettuce.
I'll try to get an updated shot of the garden plot I showed on this blog earlier in the Spring. It's looking really full now with pumpkins and sunflowers.
Our flamingos are mostly ready for the 4th of July. I'm going to add some bottle rockets to their beaks tonight.
On the running front, I've been much more consistent and I've been running more and more at the Bally's near my work. It showed in my doctor's visit last week. My BP is way down (Yeah!!!). I'm thinking about attempting a 5-miler tomorrow morning on the 4th.
I'll leave you with a shot of my kitten, Oscar, as I left him this morning on the way to work.
